4600su will not start

Hello, I went out to use my 46 and it started up but I had not opened the fuel shut off and it ran 2 sec and died. opened the shutoff and tried to re start, nothing. waited and tried again, shot some diesel in the air pipe still no start. Any ideas?

Bleed the filter and pump as per the instructions in the owner's manual.

Thanks. I didn't think it had sucked enough fuel out to need blead but guess it did. up and running again.

Interesting.
My 3000 will run for several minutes
with the fuel shut off.
Don't ask me how I know this.
