Thanks, the mice have had their way with this thing so I don't really know what is suppose to be there and what isn't. I think there are 3 different color wires between the key and the coil. I couldn't get the Ford started today. Chased it down to no spark to the plugs. Had spark to the distributor cap but decided to check the points (they are bad). 3400 Transmission Swap?
Is it feasible to change the transmission in a 3400? I see there were options for more gears and an over/under drive. I have a 4 speed but it moves faster than I would like when brush hogging in tight areas especially since the PTO is connected to the clutch. -

Thanks for the help. It looks like the clutch was just stuck. I hadn't seen that before, not without a failed part anyway. This is the first time I was glad I didn't have my shop built yet because I probably would have tore into it without driving it again. A stuck clutch is a scary thing... -
