    Timing a CC Case

    The magneto has just been rebuilt and some internals were replaced and I think this changed the original timing setting. I am aware of the retard lever. I just need to know how to reset to stock specs, after #1 on tdc. My operators manual does not cover this.

    Timing is retarded and backfires through exhaust. How do I adjust for more advance? Is it done on the mag coupler,or loosen 2 bolts on the shaft housing ?

    Wooden Corn Planter

    Looking for any information on this wooden corn planter. My research points to G.W. Brown Mfg. in Galsesburg Illinois as the first patented corn planter. Patent dates show 1870's. Any confirmation, or details would be much appreciated. Would like to know how it worked and what is missing.
