    Moving Rear Wheels To Narrower Spacing

    I used to loosen the clamps,maybe lubricate the axle,hook a chain from the clamps between the rim and the wheel run it past the fender or cab mount straight across to the other clamp and then spin the wheel it should tighten the chain and pull the wheel in

    When they started the 70 series they went up to the 1170 in 2 wheel then th1470 was the 4 wheel,when they came with the 1270 and 1370 they switched to 2470

    After trying anythng a person could think of for one hole not firing,one of the lobes must be a little taller than the rest,I shut down the gap on the points and away it went.I guess a guy should check the gap on every bump.Thanks for the imput.

    Thats true,Im not the same at 55 as I used to be either.Had a dealer tell me one time he had COM tractor come in that got so hot it burned the paint off the outside,I dont know how but you can wreck them too.

    Hi,I leaned to do fieldwork on a 830 caseomatic,as a kid all I knew about it was Hi and Low and you kept it in high going down hills.We plowed with it all day long in third low if thats all the faster you could go.It did eveything from grind feed to culivate and everything in between.Had 4000hrs...

    Does that Euclid Green look yellow? Ive got several old pieces Im going to paint and the yellow on the wheels where the paint has been protected almost looks like a New Holland yellow.

    I checked the lobes, they looked good,the shaft seems tight,Ieven rotated the cap 180 degrees and tried that,same hole not firing,looks like the rotor might be touching on that one would that do it?

    Yeah just in that hole no spark I guuess I'llcheck the lobes closly and see if thats possibly it.

    Ive changed the cap twice doesnt seem to help any other ideas?

    Cant get spark out of one of holes of the distributor,checked all the stuff,wires,plugs,just seems not to be sparking on that one hole,what do I check or how and do they just get bad? never seen on just one like that.

    Case DC clutch problem

    If its a foot clutch,when I bought my 53 SC the owner had a block of wood to hold the clutch depressed if he didnt use it for long periods,otherwise it woulden release.He said it happened to his Dad and he wasnt sure what he did to release it,but they put the block there after that.Seems to work.
