    Converting 706 remotes to joystick for loader

    So it sounds like I'll tie back the right lever (feels like no detent - unless it's out of adjustment) and use the two ports on the right/center column to run a single joystick with an open center. It's just loop out and back in - about a 2 foot total run. It's also got the 17GPM pump.

    I have a gas Farmall 706 I bought with a loader. It's plumbed into the rear remotes and isn't very graceful. Would it help to get a joystick to plumb it through? Which remote would I use? The inside one locks in the up or down position, the outer one bounces back to center.

    There is a "spring loaded parkloc" option available? As in - press the brake peddles down and lock them there? I'd love that - where can I find that upgrade kit? I'd much rather have that.

    I did disengage the lock after a minute when I realized it wouldn't hold and just used the stabilizers. I currently have a Gas 706 I just bought split for a stripped ring gear. Found a ton of wear and replacing everything from the flywheel / pressure plate back to the Independent PTO Drive...

    I recently hooked my 706 to a 3 point backhoe, put it in neutral, and set the trans brake. When digging with the backhoe I dragged the 706 all over with the trans brake slipping / clicking. Is it not meant to hold that strong? Is it just out of adjustment? I've never given one any stress before...

    IH B-275 glow plug questions

    Any Ford 7.3 glow plugs should work fine, I ordered a set off Amazon, plus the tap. I wired them back to the stock glow plug push button / meter.

    Brake/Steering failure on 706d

    Just a follow up - Yes - it was the filter clogged as well as the by-pass screen. I replaced the filter and cleaned the screen in gas - everything works perfectly now.

    I'm not hooked up to anything but the 3 point goes up and down fine/fast with me standing in it. the PTO come on/off, but isn't hooked to anything yet. If the move the wheel enough to build pressure I can steer it, but I have to keep steering right.left/right all the way. If I stop steering it...

    No brakes at all, after bleeding we can hold them to the floor and push the tractor by hand. :(

    International 706 diesel glow plugs

    OK, I still don't understand why the 3/8 NF24 doesn't slip up to the threads - but I confirmed the 3/8 NF24 tap does thread into the glow plug hole. I'll buy the ones for the 7.3, re-thread them with the die, and run new wires to the whole setup. Thanks!
