Combine for a smaller farm
We farm about 115 acres. Went from F Gleaner to 1460 IHC. The rotary is a huge step up. Changing heads is simple. Parts are easy to find, I would recomend you look at 1460/1660 IHC. I think you will be happy.- 80 acres

1650 Holley Distributor
My 1650 ran like crap, good one minute, bad the next. Could'nt figure it out so called a mechanic. Base plate was so worn out he said to get a Delco replacement from Korves. Can't believe the difference it made. Mowed hay and never stumbled once. Very happy.- 80 acres

Martin Senour Paint codes discontinued??
The 99L code is for laquer. That is no longer made. Have them use the base number and convert to an enamel .- 80 acres

Oliver old style 88
Check out Fox Auction in Iowa. They have the second 88 Oliver ever built on their auction. It need a total rebuild as it has been setting outside for years. Wish I had the money!- 80 acres

Wide vs Narrow Front End
My Dad bought a new 77 in 1953 with wide front, I learned to drive on that tractor. We still use it to this day although it dosen't do heavy field work anymore. It's now on the hay baler or pulling empty wagons.- 80 acres

Super 88 axle
I have to remove axle on a Super 88. How do you remove snap ring from inside axle tube? I assume it has to come out to remove shaft but I can't figure out how. Thanks in advance.- 80 acres
