    JD 550C Trans Oil Pressure

    I have a new to me JD 550C traded up from a 450C. My question is when the trans oil gets up to temperature its on the low end of pressure. Does anybody know if their is a way to boost that pressure through a relief valve shim or some other way?

    John Deere 450c

    Wondering if someone would know of a salvage yard in eastern iowa that deals in small crawlers. I have a john deere 450c that had a engine fire and the insurance co. Totaled it. Undercarriage is about 90% hate to see it go to scrap. Thanks

    John Deere H steering shaft removal

    What is the secret in pulling out the long steering shaft from a 1940 John Deere H? I removed the large nut but the shaft won't budge. Is there a snap ring buried in the housing? Thanks for your help.

    1456 hydraulics

    I have a problem with hydraulics on a 1456. Outlets or 3 point don"t seem to work. Took the pump out, checked gear and key. Seemed fine. Took the cover off above PTO. Draft linkage seemed normal. Had good flow of oil while tractor was running right inside of the hole on the right. So I...

    I'd be looking at your valves they are probably recessed out of spec.had the something on a 806 could not believe the difference it made after a proper valve job.

    Does any body know were I can find a wiring diagram for a IH 856 open station having a hard time finding one on the internet all I can find is an 806 but I know they are at least a little different
