    550 grill repair

This is exactly what I did too. I had to rebuild about half of my grille. Fiberglass, fiberglass reinforced filler, then filler. It's not perfect, but my 550 is no show tractor either. Possibly. A lot of the 3D printers I've worked with in college are nowhere near large enough to print an...

    Build Cards

I would like to go check the museum out at some point. I've never had the time when I've been around there in IA though.

    Build Cards

Has anyone else gotten the Build Card for their Oliver from the Floyd County Museum in Iowa? I just got mine for my 550 and will do it for my other Olivers in the future too. It is neat to see the build date, ship date, selling location, and how the tractor left the factory.

    Market Status

I rarely see parts for sale for a 550 in WI. What do you have that you're trying to sell?

    fender preference

I think it depends on what the intended use for the tractor will be. Personally, I prefer the fuel tank fenders.

    Kelley 400 Loader

That sounds a lot like me. My 550 is the only tractor my family has so it gets used for everything. I’ve got a boom pole and a rear blade for it, along with a finish mower I’ll use once I get the PTO clutch working again. For what I use it for, it’s really the perfect tractor. Definitely would...

    Kelley 400 Loader

This loader is a lot closer to 60 years old, I would estimate. That’s a cool history on them, I appreciate it. Now that you say it, 400lbs makes a lot of sense for the capacity. I’ve exceeded that, it’s not happy about lifting a lot more than that. The 550s do seem to get light in the rear...

    Kelley 400 Loader

I have done research on these and haven't had much luck finding anything. I'm hoping someone here might know or have a manual about them. My 68 Oliver 550 has a Kelley 400 loader on it. It has a trip bucket and does not put any down pressure on the loader (no clue what the correct tractor...

    550 gearshift

I never thought about that before, but I can see how it would be annoying. I'm right handed and really like having the shifter to my left. It lets me steer, run the throttle, operate the point or loader with my right hand.

    660 tie rods

I'm with everyone else here. I've also got my grandpa's tractor. The way I look at it, it being unrestored is the way your grandpa had it and that is probably the way that you remember it. If you paint it, the stories are all covered up and hidden.

    Anyone recognize these fenders?

I agree, looks like 50s International to me.

    550 Rim Replacement

See I wouldn't mind a little bit more speed out of mine. I don't use low gear very often.
