    gwstang and others missed my point on PTO

    I have a story like Dr. Bert. My first introduction to the dangers of PTO's was a farmer that got caught up in a PTO shaft on a Post Hole Digger. He to got tangled was was killed and his wife found him hours later. He was beat to a pulp, Very Sad.

    just inherited my first tractor, trying to learn everything

    If the tank is 2 internal sections then one may be for Gas the other for a distillate like Kerosene. One of My AC's is a Distillate engine and runs on Kerosene. Just a thought. Or like was said one may be just for a gas gage I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination...
