    OT ATC Value

Tom if you do a google search for 3 wheeler forums you'll find a couple. Their are people out there that love them, same as these old tractors. You just have to find the right person. Nothing better for getting around in tight woods than a 3 wheeler.

    oil leak getting worse

My 8n has always had a oil leak at the front of the engine. Wasn't a big deal to me, but it is getting worse. If it sits in one spot running, it doesn't take very long and I have a oil puddle on the ground, not just a few drips. My guess is it's not the oil pan, but where the crank comes...

    Throwing in the towel

A lot of good advice. To get it to fire you need gas, spark, and air. I haven't heard anything yet about air. It's probably a long shot, but check your air filter and tube to the carb to make sure it isn't pluged up.

    8N 12v conversion Resistor

Yes you can replace the ballest resistor and coil with a 12v coil that has it's own built in resistor. Many people use the NAPA 1c14SB part number coil. It's what I have on my 8n

Survey: How many have switched to 12V with no problems

my 8n is a work tractor. The generator was shot when I got it. Wouldn't charge, you could hear the bearings squeal when it turned. The wiring was a cut up mess, and it seemed like I would have to mess with the points a couple of times a year. I lived with it for about a year; I'd just put the...

    When to use stabilizer bars

I like to use stabilizer bars as much as I can. Like the other poster, don't like stuff dancing around. But you will find not all impliments have long enough pins for both your lift arms and stabilizers. I borrowed a post hole digger from a coworker this weekend. Sure would like to use my...

Pretty bad ask a simple question and all I get is

I'm not sure a battery charger is the best power source. A lot of chargers have some kind of smart charge built into them. They sense the battery and what it needs. My charger will charge a battery, but you can't use it to power something like a light or a fan. I know because I have tried.

    Oh no!

You might want to double check any future wiring advice you get from these guys. All in good fun

Another (cheaper) way to restrain sway-bars

the last picture autoxman posted; at the end of the lift arm right before the ball joint. You can see it between the lift arm and the stabilizer bar.
