Dell,

why not use them for plowing ? I would think plowing would pull the 3 point to one direction hard, I am missing something....I use mine all the time ...but I do not plow ....

Edgumacate me !

Dune Country,If your plow is setup correctly it will follow your tractor in the center. You do not use stabilizer bars on a plow or a cultivator because any little correction in your steering would kick the plow back and fourth, causing the plow to plow unevenly. And the cultivator to plow out your row.

We use them stabs for just about everything. I dont like the stuff dancin around. We always cultivated with them on, and we did plenty of it with a 601.We had big Jds for plowing, no stabs. Not a big fan of hooking trailers on the 11 hole drawbar, much rather have the under diffy hookup and pto hanger bracket.

I like to use stabilizer bars as much as I can. Like the other poster, don't like stuff dancing around. But you will find not all impliments have long enough pins for both your lift arms and stabilizers. I borrowed a post hole digger from a coworker this weekend. Sure would like to use my stabilizer bars with it, but the hitch pins aren't long enough

Landside wheel keeps the plow where it belongs behind the tractor. Stab/sway bars would just confuse the plow......
