    well you know the guy who designed the 6000 went to deere and designed the thousand series deeres he might have used same bolt patterns for wieghts front and rear

    yes but he stated that he replaced with a new hose. he has other cooling system issues, probably a limed up radiator. from lack of maintence.

    might have to have the radiator and thermostat checked out, flow restiction causes this. not the lack of a spring, most lower hoses don"t need springs.

    have the same proble with one in my NAA and am taking it to the blacksmith's shop this week to have it repaired, they said no problem, SO I am going to try this before I replace the block, I noticed it after sandblasting for a paint job, but it hadn't lost any antifreeze.

    Got Some Seat Time Today

    got tired of taking mounted picker off of 900 for other work on farm, so we bought more tractors as well. 4200D, 8000, 8n with sherman hoe for tiling repairs. also had to buy a 2nd 900 for a puller for we also used to do that quite a bit. Now we also have a big enough maschine shed to house them...

    very low serial number. have replaced the rear tires a couple of years ago and the rims are still in prestine condition. 10" wide rather than 9" so I just thought that I would mention it to him so he could try to measure the rim side to side and subtract an inch and get the width

    i have a 55 600 that was purchased new by grandfather that still has 10" hat rims, this is the way it came new have photo from delivery. so don,t say that they never had them, also have ford demonstator prints from old ford dealer that dad worked for that also shows a 600 with hats on it. so...

    sounds like oil invasion to me. an oily clutch will grab when hot.
