    Need loader for 7060

If anyone out there has a loader that will fit on a 7060 in need of fixing or on salvage tractor, with or without a bucket, I'm looking for one! Will mostly be used for round hay bales. May consider traveling and can remove setup from tractor to reduce price.

    WD-45 Cam and Lifters?

Thanks all, slow reply due to deer hunting! Thanks for offering the eng. with good stuff in it but I am quickly outgrowing the use for my small WD"s(2ea) and upgrading to a 7060 for the farm work. These will be retired to mowing and pulling floats in parades...So gonna stick with finishing this...

    WD-45 Cam and Lifters?

Rebuilding the motor, I found wear on the cam lobes and bad wear on the lifters. Question is in all my research I cannot for the life of me, find a supplier for NEW lifters and cams! I did find an outfit that will regrind the lifters ($8 each)and Crane Cams said they can regrind the cam (with...

    7060 squeal from hydraulics

Well I found what the squeal was! One of the remote levers was slightly pulled back, trying to send pressure to the fittings that weren't connected to anything. Since there was no flow the valve for that remote circut was bypassing/squealing. When I returned the lever to neutral the squealing...

    7060 squeal from hydraulics

I have a loud high pich squeal coming from the hyd valve body under the back of the cab on my 7060. When I move the 3 point arms up or down the squealing stops. As soon as the arms stop moving the noise comes back. I"m guessing that when the valve is bypassing the pressure is causing the noise...

2 questions on 7060, hyd filter and PTO seals.

Thanks! I did suspect the plate under the PTO was going to have to be removed and fluid drained. I am going to replace the cartridge filter assy for the PS trans with a modern spin-on type for easy changes and common/cheap availability. Just waiting on 2 fittings for the new housing. But My...

2 questions on 7060, hyd filter and PTO seals.

First question is, does the 7060 have a "spin-on" Hyd. filter separate from the "cartrige" type trans filter? My parts guy had a listing for it but I can't find it on the tractor! Second Question, could someone tell me how to go about changing both the large and small PTO seals? It does have...

    7060 Smoking all the time

Well I was able to go through all the stuff that needed time change and you guessed it, the large outer filter was completely clogged!!! Not just with dust but with black soot too! Makes sense, the exh. stack is the same height as the intake pipe! It has been sucking in exhaust soot for who...

    7060 Smoking all the time

Just picked it up last weekend. Picking it up tonight and bringing in to a friends shop/equip rental buis. to go through it completely, filters, oil, hyd, wiring... when I get the air filter off I'll write back with condition and result to help someone else in the future. That is a good point on...

    7060 Smoking all the time

Thank you Bob for screwing my head on straight! LOL! I do own diesel pickups and do know how diesels work, I lost my mind for a bit and forgot, duh, diesels have no throttle plate to resrict air coming in! They are unrestricted in what they suck in, throttled by fuel! Almost never have to fix...

    7060 Smoking all the time

Just picked up a 7060 that blows black smoke at idle and above. First though is the injecton pump is set too rich. Other thought was the injectors themselves could be weak/leaking but the smoke is steady with each cyl, not puffing like 1, 2 or 3 inj. were bad. Question is, does anyone have info...
