    How Are Your Reflexes

I can still keep the new cat on his toes, but you be careful out there. I'd miss your posts, had that post scenario went worse. Mike

What is this knob on my B?

Looks like a cheap pot knob from an electric guitar. Maybe you can adjust the gain on your B? :D Mike

Anybody ever seen one of these?

    McCormick cultivator and planter

If that plain C next to it has a hopper mounted on the cultivator, it would be to side dress fertilizer. Mike Edit: Ok..... just read it now. X2 on what Paul said. Lol!

    McCormick cultivator and planter

That's how IH mounted a lot of equipment on their tractors, especially the Farmalls. It is indeed a planter & not a cultivator. The central mounting helped with row visibility & you always have your hoppers in front, to keep an eye on. IH was not the only company that offered mid-mount planters...

Help with Farmall H. (fixup stuff)

That's the temperature lever for distillate or kerosene operation. It's of little use if you are running gas. Mike

What make/model is this sickle mower?

AC was the only mower I could think of, with the tiny tires on it. Thanks for finding the model of it. Mike

What make/model is this sickle mower?

Looks like an Allis Chalmers. Not sure of the model. Mike

    Gehl 309/"Scavenger" Spreaders? Lime?

They were meant to spread anything, but didn't do the best with dry material. I have seen compost spread with one, so it's not impossible. Mike

    What grass for pasture?

If you want, you could cut back 10% on the Fescue & make that 10% alf or some other legume. This is my mix. Works great in clay, sand, etc. & it's been a great repeat performer for 19 years. 35% Perennial Ryegrass 20% Alfalfa 20% Timothy 15% Kentucky Bluegrass 10% Festulolium 6N Mike

Does anybody still use vertical silo's anymore

They're all fun 'n' games until the bottom unloader heads south. There's still some in use in my area. A few are for grain storage. Mike

chain on new idea 14 A manuer spreader

Once you get that far.... a come-a-long will make your job a lot easier, when you have to join the ends of the new apron. And be patient! New flat chain can be a bear to get together. Mike
