Repair Gauges - 641 Workmaster
Question... If I go to back to the OEM for a '58 641 it will be the fuel gauge, the temp gauge, oil pressure gauge and proof meter. I will lose the amp gauge which was probably installed when they did the 12v conversion - maybe. I have a steel plug where the amp light should go. My question...- AlabamaDan

8n 12v coil, leave resistor or not ??????
Follow up - couldn't we measure the voltage on each side of the resistor and coil with a multimeter?- AlabamaDan

Hey guys! I appreciate all the education you're giving me. One thing I know i have to do is repair my gauges. I was thinking of just ordering a new temp, amp, and oil pressure. Would they originally have been black or chrome bezels? I can order either from this site's store. I'm guessing...- AlabamaDan
