    Repair Gauges - 641 Workmaster

Question... If I go to back to the OEM for a '58 641 it will be the fuel gauge, the temp gauge, oil pressure gauge and proof meter. I will lose the amp gauge which was probably installed when they did the 12v conversion - maybe. I have a steel plug where the amp light should go. My question...

    Repair Gauges - 641 Workmaster

I was thinking about ordering a bunch of stuff from Steiner, but this is good info. How did the return and replacement process with them go?

My current setup doesn’t match either one. Where would I find the fuel sending unit?

Follow up - couldn't we measure the voltage on each side of the resistor and coil with a multimeter?

Interesting. I have a steel plug where the light would be. How does the light work?

I know this is an old thread, but since it has been revived - these seem like good tips for the hundred series as well doesn't it?

    Repair Gauges - 641 Workmaster

Hey guys! I appreciate all the education you're giving me. One thing I know i have to do is repair my gauges. I was thinking of just ordering a new temp, amp, and oil pressure. Would they originally have been black or chrome bezels? I can order either from this site's store. I'm guessing...
