    Soundguy, you were right, the carb is plated .I put it in some muritic acid for just a second & found out it is same metal as Zenith carb. I cleaned it & it worked fine.     Friend brought me a carb off an 8 N that he bought off E Bay a few years ago It has no name on it or no # it is shiney like stainless steel , not alum or metal like zenith uses. Anyone know anything about it where it comes from or who made it I have seen a lot of carbs but this is my first one...

    3000 lift barely works

    I have had very good luck with these by draining the fluid , get as much dirt out as possible then fill with diesel fuel & run it for a couple hours & work the lift up & down a lot. About 60% of the time that works for me.

    Book showes how to do it if you have the spacers & a tapered bolt to line it up. The book also shows how to adjust a power lift if you have the special tools and it also gives you the deminsions to measure to adjust without tools . Just wondered if anyone had figered out a way to adjust clutch...

    An old friend had to have some help

    Both of the seats have been replaced with what ever hapen to be laying around . The backhoe had a seat of its own that Dad replaced with a piece of plywood & covered with old carpet. This kind of stuf is the thing I would not thank of replacing. Every time I look at it I thank of him.
