I have looked on archives but found nothing about adjusting . Can anyone help with someway to adjust clutch & pressure plate if you dont have the ford tools? The book showes how to do it but does not give the deminsions of the spacers. Thanks

Can' help but when I put new plates in mine I had the local dealer put it in the jig and reassemble.Cost was $ 90.00.Might try there.

X2. The double clutch used in the X60/X61 tractors is completely different from the one used in the Post'65 tractors.

Been gone didnt get a chance to answer . It is out of a 860 It has the springs with the clips & can be took apart using a Valve spring tool Thanks

It is my understanding that you need a special jig to hold all of the parts in alignment when you disassemble/assemble the X60 dual clutch.

Book showes how to do it if you have the spacers & a tapered bolt to line it up. The book also shows how to adjust a power lift if you have the special tools and it also gives you the deminsions to measure to adjust without tools . Just wondered if anyone had figered out a way to adjust clutch without tools Thanks

Can't help you on a 4 cyl.
On a 3 cyl the book shows you how to bolt the cover to the flywheel and use drill bits as spacers to adjust the pto clutch. I haven't done it myself but maybe 4 cyl is similar?
