    Slow hydraulics

I have a Ford 4500 tractor with a Ford 755 backhoe attachment. Transported it from Alabama to Nevada last Fall, everything worked great. This Spring the hydraulics are very slow to respond (all work but take 30-60 seconds to move. Fluid level is okay, and I do not appear to have any external...

    Flasher

Take care that the flasher meets the type of light you have. I have made the unfortunate mistake of using a flasher intended only for LEDs on my old incandescent ford......

    Ford 4630 Diesel (no cab)

Thanks, found that out on my truck. I have had pretty good success with stainless steel ones from harbor freight. I have also considered marine wire with the sleeve. Not sure if there is any sleeved automotive wire.

When in neutral is the switch open or closed? There is a relay plug behind the instrument panel but w/o a relay in it.

    Ford 4630 Diesel (no cab)

Thank you for the info. I needed the wire gauge that actually energizes the solenoid. The neutral safety switch is currently disabled. On my list..... Does it go on the solenoid side or the relay side of the tractor? Thanks Alex

    Ford 4630 Diesel (no cab)

I have to redo wiring from the key to the solenoid (have a short, one of the wires is grounding). I plan on running Hot>fuse>key switch>control relay>ground. What gauge wire is needed for the control circuit (positions 85 to 86)? Also, what gauge wire to actually energize the...
