Yesterday's Tractor Forums
A 2 terminal flasher connects in series between the switch and the lights.

If the terminals are marked, X or + is power from the switch, L connects to the lights.
 
Take care that the flasher meets the type of light you have. I have made the unfortunate mistake of using a flasher intended only for LEDs on my old incandescent ford......
