    Keeping cattle.......

Only hungry cows stay standing. When they are happy they lie down. They don't care if they are tied.

    Christmas lights, need electrical help!

Sorry, that what you do. there is a little tester you can get with a 9 volt battery. You don't have to check them all. You stop when you find the bad one.

    HAY and Money thief!!!!!

Kinda off topic but it reminds me of the cowboys caught stealing cattle. In the end though the cowboys were acquitted. Being unfamiliar with lawyer terms one cowboy asked "what does that mean?" "That means" the lawyer replied, "You can go free, there was not enough evidence to prove guilt"...

Land Rent on 1/3's, what am I missing.

Yup, share is share. He'd pay a third of the inputs $90 in your figures, and get third of the proceeds, $180 by your acct. Leaves him with about $90 rent. $40 sounds cheap for land that will grow corn. One advantage of share rent, it takes out part of the risk. If you have a bad year he shares...

    F-20 radiator

really nice ones are hard to find. Seems like they always get dirt in behind themselves and like to rust through.

    Hesston 1014 Hyra-swing without rollers

I have used one without the crimper for corn but for hay no. Like Steve says it will not feed even.

How long tractor set idle w/o harm?

I don't know. if you have climate controlled storage they should last forever. If you use them they wear out. On the other hand if it sets outside with an open stack to catch rain and forget to check the antifreeze in freezing weather the time will be a lot shorter before damage is done.

    parting out a 10-20 ???

There are line-up pins that will stick in the holes and hold the back of the engine down. Sometimes they stick pretty hard. I'm not sure how the dif comes out The transmission is in it's own case. If the tractor has a PTO it has to come out before you can remove the top cover.
