    Silo might be a Ribstone . Those windmills had only twisted wire bracing and 60* angle iron legs. Mine blew down in the 70's with a TV antenna on it .

    Back in the late 60's I was using a new 706 gas hard and it was burning valves . I finally put an Olds 455 V-8 in it and used it for yerars . Had about the power of a 1066 .Ran it to 5000 hours and sold it about 1985.

    My father had one in the 40-50's ,chechkwire ,fertilizer ,and bean seeding attachments. About 1956 we took off the front castor wheel and adapted it to 3-pt to fit our Ford Jubilee which we narrowed to 40" and used it to wheel track plant corn .

    Excellent description of 24-D"s and 24-5T. We used 24-D in the late 1940's to get canada thisthes out of oats.The agent Orange mix was thousands of gallons of mix heavily sprayed out of airplanes to defoliate trees .

    One of first self propelled combiners was Berrys Combined Steam Traction Harvester by Stocton Berry in Lindsay CA in 1886. It burned straw for fuel.

Now have two 1994 NH L-785's that have over 10,000 hours , they have two speed hydro and one has 37"x16.5 military Hummer tires and will go over 10 mph.     Literature---Le Roi Tractor -Engine Brochure

    We had a Gehl chopper about 1953 that came with a Leroy engine. It was basically a WD Allis engine with a hand clutch and gear reduction driving the chopper drive V belt .Overhead fuel tank and crank start .

    Is there a decent way to get this tire off a bad rim?

    I've always been able to get bead started and finished with a 18" tire iron and a 2# maul , even on much larger 12 ply tires, but don't work on fluid filled tires often .

    IH Hay Wagon Running Gear Parts

    You may have an ond IH steel wheel wagon , with roller bearings and a cast cap . They were pretty much bolted together. I have one that my father bought new for $150 and immediately had blacksmith cut wheel spokes and weld 16" car rims in place. Doubt you can get new parts .

    Study snapping roll design and gathering chain type ang location . Ford offored intercgangeable rubber or steel rolls. Allis had early stripper plate design over rolls . the IH 234 was similar to combine heads with stripper plates over rolls . Later rolls have several stalk chopping designs .
