Oil filter canister removal on TEA 20

Seeing how it will be in the 50's today in central Maine I thought it would be a great day to change the engine oil. Plug removed, oil drained and now I want to change the filter. I can't get the canister to budge. I have a oil filter wrench on but no go. Any suggestions greatly...

    oil dipstick heater recommended?

not sure if I did the delete properly or not. I did though remove all of the bolts from side plate except bottom one, and rotated plate down. Used a hair drier to warm oil and 3pt hitch dropped in short order. Will replace oil in the near future.

I have an oil dipstick heater i want to put in my TEA20 rear end oil dip stick hole to get my 3 pt hitch to lower. I believe i have a bit of water in the oil. Is this recommended?

John Deere 1050 Sediment bowl shut off

I am new to this this site as I am usually over at the Ferguson site. What I am looking for is the fuel shut off that is above the sediment bowl on a JD 1050. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance. If more info is needed I will try to give it. Andy
