    hydro fluid change

Hello all, Can a hydro change make your hydro system perform better if all components check to be ok. The fluid looks a little milky and the lift raises a little slow. Also, does the hydro lift help in any way in getting your implement down in the dirt (i.e. disc). Thanks Andy

    Faulty Vented Gas Caps

Well, mine is bad. Should I just run with the gas cap loose so it doesn't build pressure or create a vacuum till I get a new one? Andy

    Faulty Vented Gas Caps

If you have a gas cap that is supposed to be vented, Would a sign of a faulty gas cap have a lot of pressure when you open the tank? If it is indeed a bad cap, could it make a cheaper aftermarket tank leak.

Does fluid change = pump prime?

Hi guys, I plan to change all my fluids on my NAA for the first time. I will use a UTF in the tractor. Will I have to prime the pump after changing the fluid? Andy

Ford 800 ignition in need of help.....newbie

Well, the picture is not showing, but you can use the 6volt coil if you have a resistor in the circuit. But the 12 volt coil is not that expensive either and if you get the right one it will have internal resistance built in. Andy

    Fuel gage problem

Sounds like a voltage problem. Had the same problem on an old car of mine when the altenator was in its final days. Just a thought. Andy

    Reaping benefits of my investment

Hello all, Happy Easter. Just wanted to tell everyone about how much I enjoy my tractor. I have a 1954 NAA. The only implement I have is a disc with 24 disc on it. I used this back in February and really gave my garden spot a good scratching. I crushed and blended all those piles of leaves...

    860 Gas boiling

I've read on this site about people wrapping their fuel lines with some sort of thermal wrap to keep their gas from boiling. Also if the gas line is close to your exhaust manifold and you have a little leak, that would super heat the fuel. Just a thought. Andy

    jubilee gas tank

George, I have a 54 NAA, practically the same as yours. Anyways, I had a similar problem except my problem seemed to be a silty, like stuff. Well took tank off and flushed out and lo and behold, got a coffee cup full of stuff out of it. I am waiting on a new/used tank to arrive anyday. But...

Need source for 1/4 fuel shut off valve

Have you thought about using the electronic fuel shutoff valves? It is a device for around $60.00 that runs off your ignition switch that opens when you turn your switch on and closes when the switch is in the off position. It runs inline after the tank to the carb. That might be the way to go...
