    I really don't know about the nozzle, never had it out, it is threaded right in where the main jet was, the "read" line is right behind the choke plate. Don't hold your breath, I will try to get a pic of the carb.

    My C has been on lp since about '55. Real basic system like you describe, no heat, I have never seen any official kit for one. I still have our 8N too, it went to lp about the same time as the C, same set-up.
