early EARLY D 17 motor questions..
i'm looking at a d17 motor. The tractor is sn 13279. The motor still has the OLD wd 45 oiling system on it. I have heard that EARLY 17 motors had small mains like a wd 45. Is this true?> All I need is a crank for my late 17 motor. I need advice asap..! Thanks.- Anonymous-0

Update on Bads news on 830 3 cyl.
I decided to tear into this thing and got it back from the mechanic yesterday. I will need to build a stand to support the engine/transmission and I can jack and block the rearend. I do not have a JD manual but do have an IT and from reading that looks fairly simple. I wish it had been something...- Michael Sheik
