Case IH RBX452 Auto Wrap Fault

Yes, this machine used magnetic switches. I saw this was the tractor section after I posted this thread and it seemed like there wasn't a way to delete it, oops. I will check out Hay Talk for a solution. Thanks

Case IH RBX452 Auto Wrap Fault

Hello all, I'm wondering if anyone can help me with my Uncle's RBX452 Silage. He bought it last spring and makes hay for his 15 beef cows, it worked fine last summer we made around 100 bales with it. Except a few times after ejecting a full bale and driving ahead a few feet the bale diameter...

    John Deere 850 Series Rake

I got it apart, heated the yoke and put a pipe wrench on it, spun right off. A little persuasion to get the shaft out and cut the old bearings out with a torch. Thanks again

    John Deere 850 Series Rake

It's all good. No, that's what I needed to know if the yoke was threaded on the shaft or not. I will pull the u joint and try to un thread the yoke. Looks like it's a little my fault also, if I would have actually read the parts catalog I would have seen it was a threaded yoke. Thanks This...

    John Deere 850 Series Rake

It's the other end of the reel that needs the bearing replaced. The diagram is listed as End, Rear Reel.

    John Deere 850 Series Rake

I have an 850 series rake, not sure if it's an 851 or 858. I am replacing bearings and bushings in the tine bars. The bearings in the center of the left side drum are loose. I'm not sure how this is supposed to come apart. I don't see any set screw or nut holding the yoke on the shaft. I also...

    2940 Hydraulic Problems

I will check for moving oil behind the filler cap. My cousin who is a heavy equipment mechanic is working on it and I believe he said he had 300psi, whatever it was he said it was in the range the Tech manual said it was supposed to be in. This tractor has been split once before for a cracked...

    2940 Hydraulic Problems

I forgot to add when our mechanic changed the filters he said the gasket on the hydraulic filter appeared as it was being sucked into the middle of the filter.

    2940 Hydraulic Problems

We are using our 2940 to run a 3point sawdust blower and about a month ago I was using it and turned the PTO on to dump the load and the Pto Clutch just slipped, the shaft started to turn and quit. We emptied about half the load and was able to use to Pto to blow the rest out. We tested the...

    Kerosene Torpedo Heater

I found a pump kit on Amazon for $15 with the vanes and rotor. Ill put that in as well as a new output filter.

    Kerosene Torpedo Heater

I pulled the back cover off the heater to the vane pump and the veins look good to me, Is there something that means they are bad besides being obviously wore out? I took them out and turned them around, figured id give it a new wear surface against the outside of the pump body, probably don't...

    Kerosene Torpedo Heater

I also have a John Deere doing this same thing, these things sure don't last very long for the price.

    Kerosene Torpedo Heater

It's a Dura-Heat Brand, it has a screen on the fuel pickup tube, I took that out and cleaned it there were a few small pieces on the screen but nothing to restrict fuel flow. I think I will try an Intake filter, have a look at the veins in the pump and maybe new hoses, It is running on Kerosene.

    Kerosene Torpedo Heater

I have a 180,000 Btu Kerosene Forced air heater. It will run good and hot cold which can be 20 minuets or an hour and the cone turns real dark and it starts blowing smoke. I removed and cleaned the air intake filter but didn't run it long enough to get it to smoke. It has an air pressure guage...
