Partial rotation of crank
Engine will rotate 120 degrees either direction then feels springy ,won't try to force . Any idea why free for about one third revolution? Valves free heads removed ,genset removed.- Otis Emery

4600 wont start with the key switch
But if I run a jumper cable from the battery to the starter it will crank right up. I am not much good at trouble shooting. Could it be the saftey switch in the transmission. If I just disconnect that it doesn't make any difference. Do I need to cross the wires going to it? any ideas would be...- Anonymous-0

1951 John Deere B Clutch Seals
Hi all, I have a 51 All Fuel B that developed a slipping clutch while plowing last fall. I have it apart to replace the clutch discs. It does have a slight leak from the seal behind the pulley. front end loader
i had the same problem on my 1445 MF with a MF 1040 loader. I had to put new seal kits on each of the 2 lift arms. The dealer said one of the seals in the lift cyl. is bad and the fluid goes back to the pump which allows it to slowly go down. after i put the kits in, i have not had a problem...- B Harringtonk

MF 1445 frame problems
On my 2004 MF 1445 i have a MF 1040 loader put on from the factory. The entire tractor has about 440 hours which are not hard hours. Now the mounting frame on the controll side (right side sitting on the machine) where it mounts to the transmission is broken. does anyone know what i should do. I...- B Harringtonk
