    3010 Hydraulic Filter Change

I have a 63 3010 Gas. The hydraulic fluid looks real good but I wanted to change the hydro filter and then top off the system. Is it possible to change out the hydro filter cartridge without a lot or most of fluid coming out? Thanks

    Case VAC pullers

I was the guy with the VAC at Wichita in the 3250 Div 3 class that finished in last place. My VAC does relatively well in local "brush" pulls up to 3250. In a 2750 class it is definitely at its best. The Wichita pull was the first passes I made after basically rebuilding the tractor from the...

    Speedometer

Use a digital tachometer. I set the shift light to come on just under the rpm that i run 3 or 3.5mph depending on the class. If the shift light comes on, dont give it anymore throttle...

Let's Compare Our Little Case VAs

You guys have some nice little "VA's". They have been one of my favorite Cases since I was a youngster. I have a few VAC's myself. Some are parts, one I use around the house, and another is a pulling tractor only. I can't wait to see how these restorations play out! I am planning to swap...

    No tubes i n tires????????????

To answer your question about is "it worth doing", that is up to you. On a 2600 pound tractor I think it is definitely worth doing, as the weight of the tubes is a significant amount...however if you are pulling a 6 or 7000 pound tractor, it don"t make that much difference. Everone has their...

    Which are better?

I'm a fan of 23° narrow bars myself, cut and uncut classes. They have consistantly been the best tire for me. I have used some cut wavy lug Goodyears and had success with them in the past, but the current set of uncut Goodyear straight bars that I am running seem to hang in there really well.

bs at repulbic mo steam o rama

I"ll have to second that. I"ve never attended a pull that was rained out when it wasn"t raining...not to mention they had the track tarped. They may have trouble getting pullers to show up if they make a habit out of that kind of thing!

great first year of tractor pulling...thanks guys!

Glad you enjoyed your "rookie" year Andy. I had no doubt that your boys would be hooked on the sport after making a few passes! I"m glad to be able to pull with and against a guy like yourself. I"m looking forward to future pulls with you guys. Oh, by the way, my name is Adam, not Mark. I...

Sorry about the messed up pull. Bad Birdie.

Andy, you are correct. There was ABSOLUTELY no problem with the sled or scales. The problem I encountered was the staff signing the tractors up and the communication they had with the guy lining up the pullers. I don"t know what exactly happened or actually how it happened, but I signed up...

Bad birdie...going to Freistatt Mo pull this sunday?

Don"t feel like the lone ranger...mine too has been in the shed. I do have to get a battery bought though. After my 2nd pass at Stotts City when I killed it, the little battery didn"t have enough to crank it. I had to get a pull start, at least it wasn"t from a Deere...ha ha I told the wife...

Bad birdie...going to Freistatt Mo pull this sunday?

I'll do my best to make it down there. That 3mph limit kills me! I'm used to 3-1/2, but I guess I can put my 67 tooth gears in the VAC after this weekend. Surely we can have as much fun as we did at Stotts City!

Bad birdie...going to Freistatt Mo pull this sunday?

I haven"t heard anything about it Andy... What time Sunday and do you know anything about the classes? I don"t know of anything else going on Sunday, so I"d say your chances for a rematch are pretty good! Let me know if you have more info and I"ll try and get things ready! Adam

It's pulling well, how do I get more traction?(video)

I"m gonna have to go down to Thad"s so I can find something to install on mine to make it keep up with everything you"ve got planned! I haven"t heard anything about a Fort Scott pull. I"m fairly busy the next little while with work and training, but if you get a chance let me know what you...
