    Cub attachment parts

I had found a pull type disc harrow on the property, now that you've mentioned it, I looked it up and I think it's the 38. But some years ago, a log skidder ran over it and bent one of the gang axles so it's nothing more than yard art now.

    Covington Planter Dropping Shaft

I have a Covington planter in the barn, with the cotton can/hopper, also found this dropping shaft on a shelf but I can't figure out how it gets installed or what it does. Can anyone show me a picture of it installed and explain its purpose?

How to use Holland Transplanter with 8N?

I got this at auction so I don't have any idea where it came from or it's actual history (would love to know) but it definitely helped someone feed their family and I'm happy to keep it in action.

How to use Holland Transplanter with 8N?

what was the sprocket setup? These transplanters can be adjusted by different sprockets and different conveyor chains. Either of those would affect spacing as well. I'm not sure I can get off and keep up with my 8N in 1st even at idle...

How to use Holland Transplanter with 8N?

mechanical transplanter, can plant anything that you can get a rootball on. I'm going to use it for potatoes first, just by dropping them in the hole. But I'd like to be able to use it for onions and other transplants.

How to use Holland Transplanter with 8N?

Here's my transplanter. I know you can change spacing by the two drive sprockets, but it seems like the 8N just won't go slow enough to use this. Currently running 8 pocket chain with 10 tooth sprockets to equal 22" spacing but you gotta be really quick loading them. Any changes to accommodate...

    Cub attachment parts

I have "inherited" what I was told are all Cub attachment parts but I have no clue what they are. Is there a visual chart or something that I can look at to see what I have? Or if I post pictures could someone tell me? I'd like to find out what they are and potentially get them into the hands of...

    Unknown lever

It's got a pretty good spring that holds it in either position but shouldn't take more than about 7-8 pounds of force to move at Max. If you can feel the spring detent that's good but if it's hard to move it may have some rust holding it

    Flipping 8Ns worth it?

Just looking at my local Facebook listings I see 10 or more 8Ns in various conditions and prices. So I had a thought of buying one and fixing and selling. But that brings the question, is flipping 8Ns worth the effort? I'm not trying to make a living off of it, just more for a hobby but it needs...

    Engine oil recommendation

That's what I ended up doing, and with the addition of a 3' pipe wrench, finally got it out. Replaced with a new one and didn't gorilla tighten it.
