Ford 841 diesel engine speeds up and down erratically
Suddenly my ford 841 diesel began to idle very low, then speed up wildly when I increase the throttle even slightly. I found no problems with the linkage, although the top cover grommet around the throttle control lever has always had some "slop" in it, nothing new ,however. Pump problem? -

NC WAYNE,I hope you or anyone else on here can tell me where in our area is best to find the seals for my backhoe boom cylinder, as it leaks down so fast now that I got to fix it.
