Guys I am having the same problem with my 801 power steering,it will power assist a little to the right ,but no assistance to the left,I did the spring -back to center test,and all seems ok both ways. This unit has obviously been apart before due to the presence of sealer on the O-rings, so I tried to use the I&T manual,but it is only so good.Broken springs have been replaced in the valve,along with a good cleaning, new pump also installed. Any ideas certainly appreciated. Thanks,BDB.
