    Everyone is entitled to an opinion . From those in our club who have physically seen the plate and have vast more knowledge & experience with ferguson's than myself, there is no 8. But as I have said, everyone is free to have an opinion .

    Thanks all for your input. The reason I ask this question is that I only have a partial/faint prefix of the te only , hence trying to determine the a or d. I have been told by some it"s a and some d. From all accounts the elderly previous owner had not changed anything from when he bought it...

    Hi all, I have a '49 ferguson serial no. 106201 & engine number s64328e. It has the 2 compartment fuel tank. Is it a tea or ted. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Ben
