    Are you sure? The pump is gear driven as depicted in the manual.

    Aint that the truth. Improvements seem to mean loss of function<smile> Flare washers? Never heard of them but I'll give them a try if i can find the guy. The tubing is steel and i think over time it has gropved the brass fitting so it leaks, Thanks for the tip

    they all do that i think if the thumb screw lock on the rear lift lever isn't tight enough. I use a bungee cord to keep it up when going far other wise i just hold the lever in position with my hand

    yes, they are fuel misers. The 2000 diesel will make you begin to wonder if it isnt running on air it uses so little even when working hard.

    That baby sounds like she is tired and needs gone through. Those are very good tractors but lack of maintenence can ruin even the best of equipment. How many hours does she have on her?

    in my opinion in the pacific northwest 4-6k depending upon condition. 6k in top running condition tires very good and low hours. These are very strong tractors
