    Duane, I have a similar IR compressor (mfg 2020) with a 2hp 3440 rpm 115v 15a motor. The start capacitor is 400 mfd 125vac, run capacitor is 60uf 250vac.

    4430 quad range transmission lost all gears at once

    If I understand this post correctly, the high side of the transmission is functional, but the low side is not? If gears 1, 3, and R1 do not work this would indicate a problem in the low side. Gears 2, 4, and R2 are the high side.

    JD 4630 hydraulic fluid capacity depends on transmission of tractor. Powershift holds 12 gallon, Syncro Range and Quad Range 21 gallon. Tractors with HFWA hold about 4 1/2 gallons more.

    Check the PTO to see if it starts and stops with the control lever. PTO that turns all the time/will not stop can cost quite a bit of $$ to repair.

    Deere 4230 carnage

    6404 engine did have some issues with the connecting rod bolts coming loose, which could have caused the engine failure. I wonder if this particular engine had been overhauled previously and the connecting rod bolts reused?

    Early 4430 ether injector mounting location?

    Here are a couple of pics from a 4430 that is for sale on a lot locally. This tractor is serial range 57000, so not an early 4430. I am wondering if the early and late mounts attach to the same bracket but use different mounting holes based on the pics in the parts catalog.
