    AC 185 wiring

    Regulator plug in the new harness was wired wrong, instead of left to right was right to left. Everything else was right, Thanks again guys.

    If I would unhook the alternator and it doesn't click, do you think it would be alternator problem?

    Harness started to burn, not sure of cause, replaced harness and all switches, everything worked, reattached regulator and batteries, regulator clicked as soon as battery hooked up. Should it do that or do I have a drain in the alternator or regulator? TIA

    Combine for a smaller farm

    The K and F are good machines, but if you work alone I would consider an M-2 Gleaner, 4 row head works fine as would a 13' table, though a15' would be better, can be had for not a lot of dollars, and should you expand you have more capacity. A later M-2 would be better, have the longer shoe.

    Allis Chalmers Hay Rake

    Dad had one for a lot of years, was a good rake. Hitched to a ball on the drawbar, think on the Allis tractors, you lowered the drawbar. Two shafts on the gearbox, one was to rake, one to ted. Never saw too many, but not sure how rare they are, and price would be a personal opinion.

    23 HP Kawasaki problem

    Had a 23 hp Kawasaki, I always shut the gas off if it was going to sit for a while, usually started on the 2nd spin, even after sitting all winter.

    Removing Diesel fuel pump from a 185

    Did it long ago. Need to refresh memory. mark the pump and set timing marks under the little cover? Remove exhaust manifold to get lines and injectors? Unbolt and pull pump out?

    Hoses good or is one collapsing?

    WD loader trip to hydraulic

    You could put a crankshaft driven front pump on the WD.We did that on a WD45 and had a full hydraulic loader on it.
