Hello All Wanted to make sure I am ordering the correct shade of paint for my 3 cylinder ford 2000's fenders and wheels. Is it the Tisco light gray tp330? Thanks, BigWill- BigWill

2000 clutch adjustment update
Hey all just got the 2K back together after changing the broken set screw transmission shaft seals and adjusting the pto clutch, main clutch and linkage. Everything works like it should. yeehaa. Now I have to change the front axle pivot bushing. It's always something or as I say it's never... -

2000 clutch adjustment
Hey all Have a 3 cyl 2K with the live pto, problem is the pto does not disengage even after adjusting the linkage. So yesterday I split the tractor to see whats going on and found 2 of the 3 fork adjustment bolts ran all the way down to the fork the third was all the way out and on the outer... -

Ford 2000 diesel no prime pump ?
Joe There is also a bleed screw about 10 o clock outboard side of the injection pump. This will get most of the air out but most of the time still have to crack the injector lines at the injectors and crank the engine until you get fuel. BigWill -

bad head gasket?
The pitting in the pic would not concern me would be looking closely at areas between coolant and oil. -

How did they check the head? Visual, dye penetrant, pressure test, flat within .001 inch? Did they hot tank the head so it looks almost new? What does the top of the block look like? Look for any evidence of leak, clean block deck very well with a wire brush in your drill look for cracks... -

Yes that was the hay day of Ford Tractor division. I love the 1000 series tractors, tough, durable, reliable and those tractors will still be going long after you and I are gone. Would be interesting to see what tractors would like today that had the Ford name on them. To bad they sold out to... -
