Hey all
Have a 3 cyl 2K with the live pto, problem is the pto does not disengage even after adjusting the linkage. So yesterday I split the tractor to see whats going on and found 2 of the 3 fork adjustment bolts ran all the way down to the fork the third was all the way out and on the outer set screws for the pto release one was broke off and the lock nut was missing.
Neither of clutches were slipping so figured readjust the bolts, apply lock tight and put her back together. Do have a concern about the measurements listed in the IT manual though it says on the clearance between the set screw and the release lever strut should be .050-.054 on tractors with external clutch return springs. Does this sound correct? I have ran into some issues with measurements in the IT before that's why I ask.
Thanks,
BigWill
