    adjusting the steering on J D B

    Havin trouble removing the sector stop pin so I can turn the Eccentric bushing to remove the wobble in the steering. Shop manual says remove, but, whats agood way to do that and not breake the housing? Thanks

    john deere front wheel slop

    have a 49 JD B and tryed toget the pin out of the steering box so I could turn the notched gear to remove some of the slop from the steering. Pin is very tight, any suggestions on how to solve this problem. I do not want to break the casting. thanks

    1949 John Deere B

    Want to get the slop out of the steering on this tractor. Trouble is how do you remove the pin in the steering box so you can turn the adjustment notched plate around. Tryed to knock it out but to no avail. Afraid I will break the cast housing if I hit it any more. Thanks
