160 Fuel injector problems
So two weeks ago the tractor was running fine. A week ago, I couldn't get it to start. I tried to bleed it, and I'm getting no fuel at the injector lines. I get fuel at the bleeder valve, but nothing at the injector lines. It seems obvious that the injector pump is bad (or clogged, or...- Bill Mack

Welding man: That is the process I did, except for the throttle part. I'll give it another try today if the rain holds off. Also, I think the fuel level in the tank is low so I might have to top that up. Thanks. -

Bleeding fuel on 4600
So I finally got the new fuel injection pump installed. I get a good fuel stream at the bleeder valve. I'm just getting a trickle where the fuel line enters the engine. That may be normal, I'm just not sure. It didn't start, but by the time I had it bled and getting fuel through the battery... -

That's the part I don't know about. I've never seen either of these marks but it could be just dirt. Thanks. -

4600 Injector pump timing
So I bought a new injector pump for my Ford 4600. Unfortunately I didn't know about timing before I yanked out the old one. Can anyone tell me what I have to do to make sure the timing is OK? I know there is a notch and key that have to be aligned when I put the pump in. Is that it? Thanks. -

I have to remove the lower radiator hose from my 4600. I'm not sure the best way to drain the coolant. Any advice is appreciated. -

I think I see it now. I wasn't sure what you guys were talking about when you said the cover. I thought the pump would just slip out of the cover. -

Serves me right for jumping ahead. I removed the starter, but it still won't come out. I removed all the lines, and the 3 bolts, but it only comes out 3/4 of an inch or so and something stops it. The tractor has a loader on it which makes it doubly hard to work on, plus me not really knowing... -

I saw another thread on here that said if I cut the wire connecting two bolts on top and remove them, I can loosen the metering valve. Sound right?
