    Fuel line from injector pump is clear to top side of tank and pump is spitting fuel. Tank is clear to pump as well. Could valve settings be off that much?

    This message is a reply to an archived post by billva on July 27, 2010 at 09:22:18. The original subject was "backhoe 310 lock up". If the clutch goes up will it lock up the engine? Is their any other reason for it locking up? The head is off know sign of water damage.

    I have a 310 backhoe it set for 3 mounthsI think some rain may have gotten in through the muffler it the manufold it had a crack in it. I was tolled to pull the injectors and pour brake fluid in the cylinders then start working the crank shaft until it loosens. Is there anything else I can do to...
