    EXHAUST MANIFOLD

    Hopefully sometime this winter I will be able to do some work on my 504. My question is that I would like to put an underslung exhaust on. There is a cap or plug that I can remove to do this, but I can't get it to budge. I do not want to break or crack the manifold. Any suggestions...

    1A-60 LEVELING BLADE

    LAST YEAR I BOUGHT THE BLADE AND WAS MISING A PART. I BELIEVE IT IS CALLED HYDRAULIC ARM EXTENSION, SORT OF LOOKS LIKE A FLAT PIECE ON METAL IN THE SHAPE OF A "J". DOES ANYONE HAVE THE DIMENSIONS OF ONE SO I COULD FAB ONE? THANK YOU.

    FARMALL 400

    WORKING ON REASSEMBLYING ENGINE. LAST NIGHT PUT NEW HEAD GASKET AND HEAD ON AND TORQUED TO SPECS. NEXT PUT VALVE TRAIN ON AND TIGHTENED THE FOUR BOLTS, BROKE ONE OFF, LUCKILY WAS ABLE TO REMOVE BROKEN BOLT. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TIGHT THOSE BOLTS NEED TO BE. THANKS.

    STIIL WORKING ON REBUILDING ENGINE AFTER BROKEN CRANKSHAFT. I PULLED THE SLEEVES YESTERDAY AND NOTICED THAT #3 AND #4 SLEEVES WERE HARDER TO PULL THAN #1 AND #2 AND ALSO 3&4 SLEEVES HAD A STRONG BURNT OIL SMELL AND WERE REALLY BLACK ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE SLEEVES. DOES THIS INDICATE ANYTHING...

    about two weeks ago I was baling with farmall 400 and nh268 baler. Two windrows to go and tractor started to shake violently. Towed it home, dropped the oil pan and crankshaft was broke in half. Does anybody have a clue as to how this could happen? I am currently rebuilding the lower end and...
