    Ford Jubilee ongoing

My dad did similar thing on his 4000. The Select-o-speed was in reverse and it started up, and crashed through the shed door. Fortunately it had a tricycle front, so he didnt get run over, as he was standing beside the tractor.

    Ford 4000

When you squeeze the shifter extra hard with the vise grip, then you squeeze out the extra 10 mph on the highway. Little known hack on that tranny!! I used to drive a 4000 with the Jerk-O-Matic tranny, and tenth gear was the only smooth shift on it, if the engine was at a low rpm.

    Daffodils

I always saw them in northwest TN. What other states are they in?

Spring Valley, MN Vintage John Deere farmer

I used to drive past a farm with a bunch of 1960s & 1970s JD tractors on Hiway 63 on my way to Rochestor. 3020s, 4020s. It looked like he used them to farm with. Would see them on both sides of the road. Anyone know this guy? Is he still around? I don t get up that way...

    Improved starting

35 years ago I lived in Bemidji Mn, for 13 months. The temp one morning was -38, and my pickup was an old red chevy with 3 on the tree and a 6 banger. Engine block heater was plugged in, and she fired right up. When I went to shift from reverse to 1st, the lever was so stiff I could...

    Craftsman tools

I spent some coin for stereo equipment made in Japan....Kenwood, Sansui, Sanyo, Pioneer.....could blow your socks off. Mine speakers could make a candle flame flicker! I recently bought a used Kenwood 200 Watt Amplifier....from the 70s.

    Running a 110 line off of a 220 line...

Seems like I switched out a gas for an electric dryer in the basement in another house. My brother ran a 220 line to the dryer, and I ran a 110 off that junction box to run the dryer control panel. the 220 circuit was a 30 amp circuit, so not sure how many amps I had running to the 110...

    Crazy people

I have always wondered what it would look like if that corner edge got hit by a car! Now I know! Every time I see a flat bed tow truck I think to myself, damn, that corner edge looks like it could slice a car open like a can opener..... Funny how truck drivers can drive an 8 foot wide...

    Weight box

The thing I did not like about the box weights was the rattling noise every time you hit a bump....we had a narrow front and it could bounce. I guess it could be a warning noise to slow down. :)=

Want better than floor heater on MF 750

School buses have two of those fans. One on the driver side windshield and one on non-driver side, as the built in defroster does not move enough air. Use them in the warm weather too, for some cooling, as there is no ac in school buses.

    Fence lines

#3 is your best bet. Lowest cost, least labor, the old fence preserves the property line. You might want an 8 gap between fences, so you have plenty of room and make a double pass with the bush hog.

Buying non ethanol gas for small engines

Ethanol increases the octane in gas, so premium gas which has a higher octane than regular, would have ethanol in it too.
