Ford Jubilee ongoing

Has anyone got a wiring diagram for a 12 volt converted Ford Jubilee using a 4 terminal Key Start switch in place of the old ignition switch and push button starter. This tractor has a one wire alternator and was converted way back when. The wiring has been chopped about somewhat. I don't really want to go to fitting a new wiring loom. Thanks in advance for any help.

I cannot help you with the wiring except for the ignition switch. DO NOT get away from the push
start button! It is a neutral safety interlock. Too many operators have been run over by their own
machine starting it while standing beside it.
A friend on mine owns a JD 4020. Someone else parked it but did not do it properly. My friend reached
in from in front of the left rear tire and started the tractor. It was in gear. The tractor lerched
forward, knocking him down and running over and breaking his leg.
Fortunately, his older brother was there and pulled him away from the tractor as it, and the land pride
mounted on the rear, proceded through a cement block wall into his buisness office.
This was about 6 years ago. Both he and his brother are now in their 80s.

I echo what John says, keep the factory interlock starting. Your (or wife, kids, grandkids, neighbor) life is too important for a perceived convenience of a key start.

I recently got a Ferguson TO30 that has an interesting answer to the starting safety issue... the starter handle is the gear shift lever. One of the gear selection is "S" for start, it can't be in gear and work the starter at the same time. Of course nothing is moron proof if someone wanted to get around it.

My dad did similar thing on his 4000. The Select-o-speed was in reverse and it started up, and crashed through the shed door. Fortunately it had a tricycle front, so he didnt get run over, as he was standing beside the tractor.
