    Gravity Wagon question

I bought this old "Little Wagon" gravity wagon recently. I am not sure what this type of running gear is. Does anyone know? Next question is, what is the trick to backing this thing up? Is there a way to lock the running gear or trailer tongue? I just need to back it up 15-20 feet. Thanks

JD Van Brunt grain drill question

What is this part/parts called on the back of this drill? I have had it about a year and used it once, worked good,,,,but I just now noticed it looks like some of the parts of this gear are broken off. It also looks like the square rod is twisted slightly. Any insight on this is appreciated. Im...

seed drop tubes for Van Brunt drill

I have a Van Brunt grain drill. About 7 of my original seed tubes have come apart. Has anyone tried making some themselves? I tried some flexible rubber hose but it did not work that well. All I could find was ribbed and 1 1/2 so I had to cut it down to taper it and that was the main issue. I...

This looks similar to what I have, including the wooden bearings and axle washer. https://smallfarmersjournal.com/dunham-pulverizer-and-culti-packer/

    McCormick-Deering Cultipacker

I am rebuilding a double row MD packer as well. Mine is missing the 2nd row. I was able to get the housing over the bearings off finally. The wood bearings were in a handful of pieces and the axle washer were in about 5 pieces each, but all there I believe. This post was edited by bnew17 on...

Replacing disk assembly on JD-VB FB117A grain drill

Using this drill for the first time i noticed one of the disk would not rotate. I took it apart and it looks like the bearing is shot. I have another disk that is missing the bearing cover. I assume the disk with bad bearing, I will need to replace the whole disk/bearing right? I tried finding...

Help with lifting assembly on Van Brunt Grain Drill

I recently purchased an older JD-VB FB117A. Was planning on using it for the first time tomorrow to plant food plots. I had it under the barn with the disk up. For no reason i pulled down on the lifting assembly and it lowered the disk. Now when i pull on the lifting arm to raise them...

    Van Brunt grain drill questions

The zerks have seen better days for sure. Would you all recommend replacing them or leaving as is? Again, I'm not terribly familiar with equipment being I have only owned my tractor not quite a year. When these zerks get this old will grease still travel through them?

    Van Brunt grain drill questions

SV, I assume adjusting the depth of the openers is how you adjust the drilling depth of the seed?
