Ford 3000 Hydrulic flush
I was told that I could flush my hydraulic with Diesel fuel. Put fuel in it start the engine, let run a few seconds, but do not raise the lift, shut engine off and drain. Any one agree with that. My lift on the 3000 , and 4000 have started the same thing. The longer I do not used them the worst... -

Ford 3000 pressure relief/ hydraulic control valve
My 3000 is doing the same thing, unless I use it every day. Every day it will work fine. -

Flail Mower
I for got I had this book. The 4000 will, but not the 3000, so I need to find a 6ft, that way I can used it on ether tractor. -

Both of these are 3cyl. Will a 3000 and a 4000 lift and handle a 7ft JD model 25A Flail mower? I think it weigh 900lbs.I would rather have a 6ft, but the deal on the 7ft is good. -

I found my 4000 owners manual, those wts are 80 pounds each. They are the same wts for 4000 and 5000, the 4000 only used three and the 5000 carry five, -
