    1954 Tea 20 Distributor

Would anyone have an engineering drawing of the standard Lucas distributor with all dimensions? I am playing with a Toyota electronic distributor to adapt it to fit the Ferguson and need to machine a "Driving Dog" (Ferguson Distributor does not use the normal gear drive to work the...

    Electronic Ignition Question

In relation to converting a Tea20 to Electronic ignition I have seen various conversion kits such as Pertronix etc and notice that they simply replace the points and condensor in the Lucas distributor and the 2 wires of the unit are simply connected to the coil and there is no Ignitor as seen on...

    Converting Tea20 to Electronic Ignition

Has anyone converted a standard Ferguson points distributor to electronic by reusing the internals from a different distributor which is electronic? I have a spare Toyota Celica electronic distributor and was interested in making a new base plate internally for the Ferguson distributor to...

The original Schebler carburettor has the 90 degree elbow which can be unscrewed but my...

Tea20 will not restart after hours of mowing

Thanks Steve and others for your replies. Your view on the copper fuel line has merit and is most likely the issue as my tractor has a copper fuel line and inline fuel filter. I will check and try to move the fuel line away as possible from the exhaust manifold. Many Thanks. Brad.

Tea20 will not restart after hours of mowing

I have a Tea 20 here in Australia and I rebuilt the engine over 5 years ago and I runs like a clock mowing 24 acres regularly. The only minor problem I have always had from day 1 is that I have to make sure I don't run out of fuel (after hours of use) as restarting after refilling is always...

Blowing oil out of air cleaner

Hi Boss Hog I had a similar problem some years ago with my Tea20. I alway noticed that the oilbath filter had more oil in it than I put in and could not work it out. The excess oil was leaking out and the answer was quiet simple. If it is the British Standard engine as is mine (Continental...

Nayjon Mid mounted mower for a Ferguson

Thanks for posting the photos of the Ebay item as now I can see it clearer. The same pictures I was viewing on my computer are not as clear as these. Nayjon Pty Ltd was sold in 2005. This type of mower was originally as far as I can find out made by Naylor and Jones of Croydon Park NSW...
