    856 T/A question.

    When we pull the T/A back the tractor just keeps driving along. No change, or drop in gear happens. Tractor does keep driving fine. Where would you experienced folks look first? What is the easy fix? You know the ?Air, fuel, Spark? kinda stuff. Is it possible the linkages need adjustment? Again...

    I think I follow you. What you are suggesting is also, what the service manual suggests. But, how tight do I torque these bolts? Also, I don?t follow your tip on the 5/6 but under each lever? Where exactly? Sorry for my ignorance!

    I think what I might be describing as a ?cylinder? is commonly called the rock shaft. I still have not got tractor into shop, but have been looking for the seals on the net. No luck. I will call Maibach on Monday.
