    This tractor is being auctioned near me, and described as 1980 6600, was curious of the model #DW314C, couldn't find anything, about "W". Engine valve cover has "UK" sticker.

    Thanks for the numbers, I was thinking close to that $1500 or so. Maybe Id get lucky and the crank would be fine. Is there a concern with porosity with this engine block?     350DU engine knock

    My story, developed an engine thump/knock a while back and finally turned into a large clank. Pulled the oil pan and found the crankshaft cracked, just aft of the middle crank bearing. Lots of metal in pan, thinking maybe bearing went first. Now I need to decide what to do with it, fix or part...

    IH 350DU HYD cyl stuck extended

    I removed both fittings and still stuck. Would the stroke limiter lock it up? Seems like it may be a safety thing, loose hyd pressure and cyl locks maybe. I'll play with it a little tonight and post results.
