Nice purchase. Thats the way to buy them. A dump truck equivalent to yours would be nearly $60k brand new. You're right, the tires are worth that. My local tire guy quoted me $320 for a 11r 22.5 recap. Brian -

75 Ford 5000 Diesel w/original rubber and paint
Thought I would share these photos of my 75 5000. I bought it about 7 years ago at an estate auction. One owner 2700 hrs. 18.4 x 30 and 7.50x18 original Firestones. It now has 3050 hrs. I use it to power a heavy duty 7 foot rotary mower and to pull a 3-14 mounted plow. I like the tractor a... -

1974 ford 2000,what is the value??
Here in Wisc., a tractor like that around 3k to 3.5K. If it had LPTO and Power Steering then 4.5k. Make sure tires and rims are solid because that can cost a lot these days. Good Luck! Brian -

FORD 3000 Diesel Purchase and Photos
I thought the mushroom type cap came out when the 2 piece plastic grill came out (1968-1975). The 600 series (2600, 3600, etc) still had the mushroom cap but was black in color to go with black mesh grill. Not positive though. Brian -

Thanks guys for your input about the straight 4 speed 3000 that I have been interested in buying. Ultradog, it is a gas model with DL, PS. It has 1800 hrs (supposedly actual) with 75% rubber. No remote valve. Regular wheels - NO power adjust. NO loader. Pretty darn straight except for a... -
