    Allis B hydraulic pump question

Hi all, new to the Allis B. My hydraulic pump is missing the roll pin for the plate to shaft connection. Can someone tell me the dimensions so I can procure a new one? Thanks in advance!

    1936 unstyled B newbie question

I'm hoping this is in fact what's going on. I'm still looking for my laser thermometer to actually test. The gauge looks to be the factory one, or a very old NOS replacement from ages ago.

    1936 unstyled B newbie question

Level hasn't budged, don't think it's the head, no other issues of cracked head. Will keep an eye on it though. Also going to test to see what the actual concentration is.

    1936 unstyled B newbie question

All, long time lurker, first time owner. Just got a 1936 JD Unstyled B, it's sat for a while but in overall good condition. I've noticed that it seems to get very warm when running (and it's in the high 30s-low 40s here in NC at the moment). The temp gauge reads between 190-220 on it. The...

    JD 4052m no crank

Problem has been resolved. The solenoid wire is a spade connector and had vibrated back enough to look connected but was not making connection. After reconnecting we are back to normal.

    JD 4052m no crank

Sorry I didn't address this in previous post. This has been done as well. Also checked voltage from battery to the starter, including all fuses. All is good there too. I'm thinking either some safety switch is out of whack or the solenoid on the starter is dead. I've already got a call into...

    JD 4052m no crank

This unit is a hydro. I've tried with range selector in all ranges including neutral with no success. I did confirm (and cycled to be sure) that PTO was off. When I turn the switch to the start position you can hear the relay under the dash clicking each time I try to start, just not getting...

    JD 4052m no crank

No, I'm in NC and mud is about as close to snow as we have here right now. None in the area that I was working in yesterday. I've tried everything I can think of related to pedals/switches and no dice.

    JD 4052m no crank

All, I have a 4052M with less than 100 hrs. Started it this morning just fine, ran for an hour or so with no issues. Shut down to talk to the JD tech that was here to do a recall on my Z730m. I got back on the machine to start it again and it has no start. The dash lights up, beeps like...

Long 310 missing past half throttle

All, Long 310 had blown head gasket. Replaced it along with surfacing head. Starts, idles and runs well until you go past half throttle. Starts stumbling/popping bad. Pump was rebuilt not long ago. Valve lash set at .015. Any ideas? Not much info to be found on these old girls.

    K301 straight pipe

All, I have a K301 on a CC 124 that I'm building as a puller for my boys. I'm looking to install a straight pipe on it and noticed that it doesn't have the bolt holes drilled and tapped for the MidWest SC flange for straight pipe installation. Wondering if anyone else has come across this and...

    Almost ready for prime time

As usual TOH, your work is amazing! Can't wait for the USPS to deliver the tools you made for me. Sad 8N block still hanging upside down waiting for a heart transplant. Bet all its blood has rushed to its head by now.

    The little pin

It's amazing what that little bit of material can do for you. The first 8N I had was worn half way thru. Went from barely pickup up disk harrow to over a foot of ground clearance.
